Amid Crises, Obama Lands in South America

Amid Crises, Obama Lands in South America

This article is about the landing of the president Barack Obama in Brazil on March 29 , 2011 , came here with his family and top advisers to open a five-day trip to Brazil, Chile and El Salvador that was intended to underscore economic opportunities in the region, especially in Brazil. But his visit was overshadowed from the start by the approach of the multinational military campaign to defend the Libyan opposition against attack by Col. Muammar el –Qaddafi’s forces.

This article is interesting because it looks like there is nothing else to talk about unless the fact that Obama landed on Brazil.

  2. I so agree with you, they could have found something more prudent to speak of other than what that artical entails. Speaking as an American, it was just another opportunity for some reporter to throw contempt for a prez they dislike. There are tragedies happening every second of the day and some people seem to expect Pres. Obabma to put his life on pause for each and every one. A ridiculous suggestion to make.
