You are brazilian, use your charm

The text talks about a Brazilian's lingerie commercial with Gisele Bundchen. The commercial shows Giselle with clothes sayng bad news to her husband and a "whrong" flashing up in the screen. Than, show Gisele sayin the same thing to her husband, but only with Hope's lingerie, and a "right" flashing up in the screen.

Brazil's ministery for women opened a suit against Sylvio Korytowski, the director of Hope Lingerie sayng that is too offencive the commercial, and we think that they have his point, because it's not in that way that things happens, and that commercial is lowering brazilian's woman saying that they can get everything, but only using her chrm with lingerie.

  1. I don't agree in mmy opinion the comercial only says that brazialian girls are really charming and that using Hope's lingerie they get more sexy and with that they can have everything they want, they are not saying brazilian girls can only use charm because it's their only quality is just one that they could use in the comercial.

  2. I agree with you girls, it's such a machism thing to do, yes, womans can use their charm to convence us, mens, but the society just use this as an trick to make us buy lingeries, really don't make sense...

  3. A suit? I think that is overkill. I think some may be personalizing that commercial too much. I mean, lngerie commercials are going to be provocative and seductive, it's lingerie. Since it's women that wear them then of course you will see women in the ads being seductive and sexy. Suing a lingerie commerical for that is like suing a toilet paper commercial for showing a man on the toilet and after using the last bit of tissue he leaves. Should men protest being shown as too lazy and insensitive for not replacing the roll?

That is overkill and may I say as a woman, that ministry would not speak for me. I'm sure there are more important things they should be busy with, like making sure all little girls are educated no matter their circumstances. What I'm saying is, it's some serious things happening in life their and they want to take the time to sue over a lingerie commercial. Strikes me as frivolous. Thanks for the article, it was interesting.

  4. I disagree with the commercial, because it isn't all brazilians that are vulnerable to the lingerie, and the lingerie don't make your body be better, it's a bad propaganda.
