Brazil Corruption - President loses fourth minister

The article we chose http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-14569168 is about a very important moment in Brazil. The minister of agriculture Wagner Rossi asked to leave the government after being accused of corruption and the President Dilma Rousseff accepted his resignation.

Mr. Rossi says the accusations are false. The PMDB party is having problems with the government. We think that nothing of this is new. We think that the President Dilma already knew of all the corruption in the government but she hired Mr. Rossi anyways.

These scandals are not new and happen all the time. Brazilians are accustomed to this type of news and feel too tired to fight for changes. We think politicians and corruption are the same thing and we already expect them to steal and commit crimes.

  1. "Politicians and corruption are the same thing" I totally agree with that quote. I also think that politicians sometimes hire these kind of people to take the fall when a scandal is about to be exposed so that the major players hands stay clean.

Once upon a time, it wasn't about politics, it was about being public servants there to help the people and their country grow, now it's about how they can make their pockets larger and become little gods. It's why politicians today disgust me. Thanks for the article.
